Description: guided tout by a Bruxelles-Environnement forester. He/she will introduce you to topics like nature management, forest planting, forest professions, climate change, UNESCO recognition, FSC certification, and much more.

Description: Horses are still used today in forest to extract small and medium felled trees to the road. They are particularly useful in sensitive environments where they limit the impact of logging on soils. Come and discover a logging site with comments from the experts.

Description: The APAFS (Association Protectrice des Arbres en Forêt de Soignes) (the association for the protection of trees in the Sonian Forest) has listed, with help of the foresters, all remarkable trees in the Region of Brussels-Capital. Approximately 90 trees of this type are marked with a blue square and 40 “curious trees” are marked with a blue triangle. The APAFS will take you for a walk and will distribute all their documentation.
